Purdue University planned and provided an amazing day on Saturday for students around the state. Ten JGSC girls were able to visit science labs and buildings around campus. They saw so many exciting things from drones and lasers, to liquid nitrogen and seeing a moon rock and flying aircraft. The girls also got to meet and hang out with 3 female aerospace engineering students. They asked amazing questions!
Saturday students were up bright and early for Space Day. They heard from 2 former astronauts before being whisked away to participate in 3 different hands on STEM challenge sessions
