WES Third Graders Earn an Outstanding 100% Pass Rate on IREAD3
Walkerton Elementary Administrator Kara Kaser announced today that every WES third grader passed the state-required IREAD-3 assessment. The state of Indiana sets a goal of 95% proficiency, and this group exceeded that goal with an outstanding 100% pass rate.
Students received the exciting news firsthand during a surprise confetti celebration held in their honor this afternoon.
Mrs. Kaser praised the hard work and dedication of the students, as well as the collaborative efforts of the third grade teachers, Title I staff, resource teachers, and the kindergarten through second grade teams—all of whom played an important role in this achievement.
